I have had OCD for most of my life and when the term is thrown around as some sort of cutesy indiosyncracy, it&#39;s a little insulting. Unfortunately, popular culture focuses on the OCD stereotype of washing hands, checking locks, etc. which for many people is only a small part or not a part at all of their symptoms.
